Share the Warmth

Share the Warmth is a program created by Piedmont Natural Gas to help area low-income families pay their energy bills, ensuring a safe and warm home when temperatures fall.

Piedmont Natural Gas customers may enroll in the Share the Warmth program. Once enrolled, Piedmont will round up your monthly Piedmont Natural Gas bill to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to an approved Share the Warmth agency in your community. One-time contributions are also accepted. Contributions to Share the Warmth are tax deductible, and 100 percent of all donations stay local.

Three ways to enroll in Share the Warmth:

  1. Complete the enrollment form on the back of your monthly bill and return it with your bill remittance.

  2. Call 1-800-752-7504 and sign up over the phone.

  3. Complete our online form

If you’d like to help families stay warm, or if you or someone you know needs help with energy bills, visit the Share the Warmth website to learn more.

The $100 entry fee collected from each float and element participant in the Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade is 100% contributed toward the Share the Warmth Foundation. In addition, Piedmont employees and special guests are wearing orange Share the Warmth scarves during the parade to show their support for this community aid program.
